Nómadas solitarios que se burlan de las constricciones de la sociedad prefiriendo la comodidad de la vida salvaje.

Pasan las noches enteras en comunión con los animales y dedicados a cazar.

Son feroces guerreros que sacan su poder de su instinto animal. Al entrar en frenesí, aparecen rasgos animales en sus cuerpos.

Su escaso contacto con el resto de los Cainitas, junto a su ferocidad durante el combate, ha creado un aura de temor y misterio alrededor del clan.

Mientras la humanidad se desvanece...

Cuidado con los demás vampiros... los despiadados asesinos del Sabbat. Cuidado con lo desconocido... una monstruosa criatura con un Ojo viscoso y latente. Cuidado con los horrores sobrenaturales que merodean por los bosques. Cuidado incluso con ellos mismos, pues en un abrir y cerrar de ojos su propia sed de sangre puede tomar el control. Ramona ha luchado contra el ansia durante dos años, y ahora puede controlar su sed de sangre... a veces. Pero debe dominar sus pasiones o Zhavon, su último lazo con la humanidad, morirá. Pero a cada forcejeo contra la famélica Bestia, sus recuerdos de la vieja vida, de la mortalidad, se hacen más y más tenues... y ocurre lo mismo con su voluntad de resistir.

Temidos por los demás vástagos por su poder físico, el clan está formado por rebeldes que apoyan con pasión sus ideas.

El clan tenía en sus inicios fuertes inclinaciones políticas y filosóficas, aunque también alma guerrera.

En el presente la mayor parte son violentos y forman la mayor parte del grupo anarquista. Pese a esto una parte sigue siendo intelectual.

Los monstruosos vampiros del Sabbat pululan hacia el norte en cada vez mayor número y amenazan con doblegar Baltimore, el último bastión de poder de la Camarilla en la costa este de los Estados Unidos. Theo Bell, arconte del clan Brujah, es el Vástago que dirige la resistencia. 

Mientras los antiguos pontifican y compiten en busca de influencia, él mantiene unidas las defensas de la ciudad. Se halla falto de efectivos, superado en potencia de fuego, y, como si no bastara con eso, se ve obligado a esquivar las consecuencias derivadas de los asuntos e intrigas personales de sus aliados. 

¿Está un espía filtrando información vital al Sabbat? ¿Quién se halla detrás de la conspiración contra el Príncipe Garlotte de Baltimore? ¿Cuánto saben en realidad los reservados Nosferatu? ¿Es de fiar el socio Ventrue de Theo, Jan Pieterzoon?

Demasiadas injerencias, letales en potencia para Theo, y mientras tanto el Sabbat sigue llegando...
